The Georgia Monarchs tournament travel team is a member of the Marquis Grissom Baseball Association, Inc. (MGBA, Inc.). Here with the Georgia Monarchs, our mission is to instill a love and passion for the game of baseball within each of our players so that their efforts will earn for them a skill level and knowledge of the game unsurpassed by any other program. We believe that athletes must be students first as well as good citizens and members of their communities.  To accomplish this we require our players to maintain good grades, attendance and conduct in school while adhering to a demanding baseball schedule.  

 The MGBA Georgia Monarchs travel team is not for everyone, our schedules and level of commitment are demanding to say the least.  But for those who commit to the program and work hard, the rewards can be great.  To accomplish the goals set and to be triumphant this team will need the complete support and participation of everyone. Therefore, the MGBA Georgia Monarchs travel team will consist of dedicated coaches, supportive parents, and volunteers that will work together for the same cause making this a victorious fun filled year of baseball. 

We have five goals we would like to accomplish this year:

1.       To improve each players skill level allowing them to move to the next level and obtain college scholarships.

2.       To play the game with passion and excellence.

3.       To compete and qualify for the USSSA Global Sports World Series in Gulf Shores, AL (Accomplished 10/31/10)

4.       To compete and qualify for the Triple Crown Fall Nationals in St. Augustine, FL and Las Vegas, Nevada.

5.       To compete and qualify for the AABC World Series in Brooklyn, NY
